Blue Ribbon Eel Rhinomuraena quaesita
Provide sand and coral rubble for burrowing or an aquascape of live rock for hiding. Acclimation is made easier by providing a small mollies or feeder guppies to the aquarium. They are excellent at finding and escaping through small cracks and holes in the aquarium as well as swimming up siphon tubes that lack strainer caps.
Difficult to nourish in captivity. Live feeder fish are necessary to elicit feeding behavior. Start with feeder fish and gradually switch to marine fish and crustacean flesh.
