Yellow Tang Zebrasoma flavescens
One of the most popular fish species in the hobby, it makes a great splash of color in the aquarium. Must be fed a diet appropriate for active herbivores or its color will fade and it may develop head and lateral line erosion. May become very aggressive once established, especially in a smaller tank. Keep only one, except in large tanks, where groups should be introduced simultaneously.
Feed a varied diet of mostly vegetable matter such as dried and frozen herbivore foods that contain marine algae and Spirulina.
