Very similar to A. ocellaris although the white body bars in this specis are often edged in jet black. Tends to be more aggressive towards other clownfish species than A. ocellaris. House singly or in pairs.

Feed a varied diet including meaty food items such as mysid shrimp as well as frozen preparations for herbivores
