Catalaphyllia - Indo Premium Catalaphyllia jardinei
The elegance coral is unmistakeable. It has a small, conical base and the oral disc is large and flattened with a fringe of large long tentacles. It may contain many mouths. The color is typically a shade of fluorescent green and the tentacles are often the same color as the disc or a contrasting color and tipped with pink, blue or lavender. This species lives in mud or soft sand and a deep sand bed is ideal. It should not be placed on rocks in an aquarium and is not suitable for a bare-bottomed tank. This species requires a larger aquarium due to its size and expansive polyps. It should not be able to touch another coral even when the polyps are extended fully. It does not tolerate contact with most soft corals or algae such as Caulerpa.
Has zooxanthellae. An avid and voracious feeder that needs to be fed. Will eat crustacean foods such as small krill or brine shrimp. If several types of foods are acceptable, they should be rotated to provide a balanced diet.
Size: Colonies to about 12 inches long and 8 inches wide. Tentacles may extend outward another 4 inches in all directions

Often available in red, green, orange and a mixture of the three, this coral inflates its tissue from several corallites. The skeleton is not branching as with B. merletti. It is a solid mass with low lying corallites. Provide moderate lighting and low to moderate flow.
Has zooxanthellae however it can be fed mysis shrimp or brine shrimp.
