Toadstool Frags Lobophytum spp.
Prefer moderate to strong currents. React poorly with sea anemones or mushroom polyps, secreting potent chemicals that can cause these animals to move away or die. Polyps are often white, relatively large and may extend 5-10 mm out from the surface.Prefers bright lighting but can tolerate dimly lit tanks if they are provided supplemental foods.
Has zooxanthellae but may benefit from feedings of microplankton.
Size: some colonies may reach 3.3 feet in height and width.
