Anthelia - Wild Anthelia spp.
Prefer moderately strong currents. Their diet in nature is unclear, but it is likely they need small microplankton to thrive. Anthelia species have relatively large and robust polyps arising from a common basal colony. The polyps in some species may be a ssmall as 5 mm in diameter, but most are larger.
Has zooxanthellae but can be fed foods such as Artemia naupllii, rotifers or dissolved frozen foods that will disperse to form fine particulate material in the water.
Size: colonies may reach 12 inches in height
