Red Starfish Fromia milleporella
These boldly patterned species do best in established tanks with sponges and small sessile animals for them to eat. Water conditions, particularly salinity, are of utmost important in their care. Acclimate slowly, adding water from its new system to its shipping water in small increments over a period of hours. It may eat low growing sponges or perhaps other animals that grow on surface films.
