Blonde Naso Tang - Small Naso lituratus
An active fish that can make a wonderful display specimen if provided with plenty of swimming space and suitable hiding places. Some specimens are reluctant to feed on anything but brown macroalgae, although most will take a variety of foods. Usually not aggressive toward tankmates, except for members of its own species and possibly related forms. May jump out of an open aquarium. Some individuals may nip at large-polyped stony corals.
Feed a varied diet of mostly vegetable matter such as dried marine algae (especially brown varieties), Spirulina, herbivore preparations and frozen meaty foods for planktivores.
