Tailored Aquatics Reef dKH will not raise aquariums PH above 8.4 and helps maintain a PH of 8 - 8.3 Tailored Aquatics Reef dKH Concentrate helps maintains carbonate levels at or above natural reef levels for lush coral ,clam and coraline algae growth.
Mixing Directions: Always test aquariums dKH before using this product. To Raise Carbonate Hardness (KH) : Add one teaspoon (10ml) to a one cup of fresh water and dissolve per 50 gallons of aqaurium water daily to reach an alkalinity of 2.9 to 4.2 meq/l or 8 -12 dKH. To maintain KH: Add one ½ teaspoon to one cup of fresh water per 25 gallons once a week to maintain an alkalinity of 2.9 to 4.2 meq/l or 8 -12 dKH. Always add mixed buffer to a high flow area of aquarium or to sump. Wait 30 minutes before testing new Alkalinity (dKH) Note: Test KH Frequently!, More or less Reef dKH Concentrate may be needed.
