Peppermint Shrimp

Lysmata wurdemanni

This shrimp has a tendency to eat small polyps and may benefit the hobbyist who is plagued with a case of the pest anemone, Aiptasia. This shrimp is nocturnal and reclusive. Provide rocky caves or crevices for it to shelter. May take food from corals, sea anemones and other slower creatures.

This shrimp is an efficient scavenger but will eat most aquarium foods.
