Phosphate Destroyer 250mL Phosphorus in reef systems exists in many forms: as (inorganic) orthophosphates and organic phosphates. Inorganic phosphate is readily used by algae and inhibits calcification of corals and coraline algae even at extremely low levels, below that of which test kits may read. The organic forms, not available to organisms such as algae, can readily be changed into inorganic forms as needed, hence still being a major cause of algae blooms. Hobbyist can test for inorganic orthophosphate using an aquarium phosphate test kit, but can not test for organic phosphate waiting to be changed. This product can be used before or with the use of Nitrate Destroyer when extreme phosphate levels are detected.

Directions Shake well before using Add one capful per 50 gallons daily in high flow area until desired phosphate level is achieved. Add one capful per 100 gallons weekly to keep low phosphate levels maintained.
Note: Some cloudiness may occur. Test phosphate levels Frequently! More or less Phosphate Destroyer may be needed to maintain a phosphate level of 0.00ppm.
Do NOT over dose, This product may lower PH and dKH! Always test PH and dKH to maintain these levels. PH/dKH levels can easily be maintained with Tailored Aquatics dKH plus or dKH Dry Concentrate.
