Orca 200 Skimmer The ORCA Needlewheel pump powers the 8 inch diameter acrylic protein skimmer. This use of the latest single pump technology results in a fine bubble mix with a total power consumption of less than 100 watts! The skimmer is made of 1/4" cast acrylic as well as use of SCH 80 fittings on connections. The ORCA pump uses a custom made, high efficiency Baldor motor that employs superior windings. The pump head uses Silicon Carbide faced seals.
