Blue Eyed Cardinalfish Apogon leptacanthus
A great display animal in a shallow or deep-water reef aquarium. Also a welcome addition to a more docile fish only tank, or to a small-polyped stony coral aquarium. It should be kept in aggregations of five or more individuals and should not be housed with aggressive tankmates. May be picked on by other, more aggressive cardinalfishes.
Feed meaty foods, including marine fish and crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp and frozen preparations.
