Tailored aquatic Reef Kalk is a high quality Kalkwasser and is used to make Lime Water, great for reef tanks because it does not add anything to the water that accumulates, it precipitates phosphate from the water enhancing corals ability to deposit calcium, it maintains alkalinity by combining with dissolved Co2 and Tailored Aquatic Kalk Booster (Carbonic Acid). Tailored Aquatic Reef Magnesium should be used to maintain magnesium levels when using any kalkwasser, as kalkwasser depletes magnesium levels faster than calcium chloride as your calcium source.

Mixing Directions: Mix 1/2 teaspoon of Reek Kalk and add 1 capful (5ml) of Kalk Booster to 1liter of fresh purified water. mix well and allow the settle for several hours. Settling Directions: Kalkwasser is a milky solution when first mixed. Allow to settle at least 2 hour then only use the clear solution in the middle. Do not use settled calcium carbonate power on bottom. Dosing Direction: Kalkwasser has a PH of nearly 12 and must be added slowly as to not change the ph in aquarium to drastically! Drip the clear solution into sump or high flow area at not faster than 1/2 teaspoon of Reef Kalk powder (mixed in fresh water) per 100 gallons of aquarium per hour. NOTE !Never add dry powder directly to aquarium water. Never add freshly made lime water to aquarium. Keep container tightly close when not in use.
