Carnation Coral - Cultured Dendronephthya spp.
These are among the most colorful and beautiful soft corals, but are some of the most difficult to keep. They need strong alternating currents and probably require bulk flows rather than those produced by powerheads and pumps.
Need to be fed heavily as they lack zooxanthellae. Benefit from phytoplankton additions and do best in tanks with well developed sand bed infauna.
