Favia - Ultra Premium Favia spp.
Generally known as "closed brain corals" these corals are generally easy to maintain. Their feeding tentacles are found as a fringe inside the edge of the polyp and extend at night and can cause damage to nearby corals. Will grow well if fed.
Has zooxanthellae but can be fed. Feed at night for best results. Will take meaty foods, including mysids and diced fish.
