Captive Bangaii Cardinalfish Pterapogon kaudernii
It is risky to keep these fish in groups except in a larger system. Males of this hardy species mouthbrood eggs and fry until they are free-swimming, making them relatively easy to breed in the home aquarium. Best housed with other nonaggressive species.
Feed meaty foods including marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp and frozen preparations.
