China Wrasse Anampses neoguinaicus
Members of this genus have been historically difficult to keep due to shipping and acclimation stresses. A gorgeous specimen, the china wrasse can be a great addition to the larger aquarium. This fish requires a soft sandy substrate to burrow in and a generous amount of live rock to graze on for copepods and bristleworms. A tight tank lid is required for these fish as they are notorious jumpers.
Feed a variety of smaller foods including mysis, vitamin enriched brine shrimp and zooplankton. May take time to accept prepared foods.
