Blue Chromis Chromis cyanea
A stunning addition to the reef aquarium. When first introduced or when stressed, its color can be fairly dull, but once acclimating it should be a spectacular blue chromatic color. If not provided with a varied diet, the color may fade over time. Juveniles acclimate more readily than adults. They often do best in groups, but dominance hierarchies will develop among individuals. Because of this it is best to keep this chromis in groups of six or more. Smaller groups may result in the lesser dominant fish being harassed to death.
Feed meaty foods, including finely shredded frozen seafoods, mysid shrimp and frozen preparations.
