Pyramid Trochus Snail

Trochus spp.

These snails can be good, long-lived grazers in an aquarium with enough algal growth to sustain them. Add only a few snails at a time; they will starve if overstocked. Will not eat macroalgae.

Wholly herbivorous grazers that must have a tank with a good growth of diatoms and microalgae.
