Saron Shrimp Saron spp.
These large attractive shrimps need plenty of hiding places. If added to an established aquarium with lots of live rock, they do well but are seldom seen except at night. They do best in typical reef conditions, but they prey on small animals, including small polyps, such as zoanthids, star polyps and perhaps small corals.
Will eat most aquarium foods. Without polyps to eat, they are reasonably good scavengers.
