Blueface Angel : Small Pomacanthus xanthometopon
A gorgeous fish for the more experienced aquarists, this moderately hardy species should be provided with plenty of swimming space, as well as a number of suitable hiding places. Often shy initially, but if not bullied by tankmates or in a high-traffic area, it will become bolder. Does not tend to be as aggressive as some of its relatives, but may chase close relatives. Will nip at sessile invertebrates, including stony and soft corals and clam mantles.
Feed a varied diet, including Spirulina and marine algae, as well as mysid shrimp or frozen shrimp and high-quality angelfish preparations.
