Redspotted Hawkfish Amblycirrhitus pinos
This Atlantic species is quite shy when initially introduced, but after it has settled in it may bully newly introduced tankmates. More than one specimen can be kept in a medium to large aquarium if they are introduced simultaneously, are of unequal size and if adequate hiding places are provided. May eat smaller, delicate shrimps.
Feed meaty foods, including crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, and frozen preparations.
