Redbelted Anthias Pseudanthias rubrizonatus
A hardy but aggressive anthias species, best to keep solitairy individuals except in extra large aquariums. A group should consist of one male and eight or more females. It is risky to keep with other anthias species and more peaceful zooplankton feeders due to its pugnacious disposition. Prone to color and weight loss if not given a varied diet and an ample quantity of food.
Does best with a meaty diet including mysid shrimp and vitamin enriched frozen preparations. Feed at least 4 times daily.
