Zebra Moray Gymnomuraena zebra
An eyecatching and extremely docile species that is an ideal moray for the community fish tank. It may appear menacing but poses no threat to its fish tankmates, even smaller specimens. It is naturally reclusive and must be provided with crevices that are large enough to conceal its entire body. In time it can become bold enough to move about the tank searching for food when the lights are on. Will eat ornamental crustaceans. May topple corals that are not securely attached to the rockwork.
Can be difficult to feed and may require live feeder crabs at first. Feed meaty foods including fish flesh, clam meat, scallop and squid from a feeding stick.
