Banded Moray Eel Echidna polyzona
This smaller species of moray is an attractive addition to the aquarium. It requires numerous holes and crevices in which to hide, aiding in acclimation and discouraging escape from the aquarium. This is a nonaggressive species that can be kept with other morays and fishes too large to swallow whole. Will eat ornamental crustaceans and small fishes.
It can be difficult to feed at times and may requirew live crustaceans, especially small fiddler crabs. With time, it may be possible to switch to fresh crustacean and fish flesh. Feed to satiation twice a week.
