Yellowsaddle Goatfish Parupeneus cyclostomus
This is a nervous fish that should be provided with plenty of swimming space, several good hiding places and nonaggressive tankmates. This species is not an appropriate choice as a sand-stirrer for reef aquariums. Juveniles willl spend most of their time swimming beneath their tankmates, especially long slender fishes while adults will outgrow the average home aquarium. Must be fed several times a day and will eat worms, crustaceans and small fishes.
Feed meaty foods including fresh and frozen seafoods, live grass shrimp and frozen preparations. Feed juveniles at least 4 times a day.
