Snowflake Moray Eel

Echidna nebulosa

A great aquarium fish that adapts quickly to life in captivity, readily accepts most foods, stays relatively small and is less of a threat to its tankmates than members of the genus Gymnothorax. Normally mild mannered, it can become pugnacious when food is present and a larger specimen may occasionally latch onto a fellow tankmate. The use of a feeding stick can train the eel to feed predictably. Will eat ornamental crustaceans and small fishes.

Feed a variety of meaty foods including fresh and frozen fish, crustacean flesh and krill using a feeding stick.
