Camel Shrimp Rhynchocinetes spp.
These shrimps carry a mixed review for most aquariums. They are very active ad tnight and can be seen cleaning materials off rocks and other hard substrates but a few in a tank will reduce the net growth of zoanthids or star polyp colonies to zero.
These shrimp will feed on small polyps or scavenge food.
Size: to about 1.6 inches
Area of Collection: Tropical Seas
Reef Suitability: Not reef aquaium safe unless in large tank with a healthy growing population of various polyps. Will prey on corals and other polyps.
