Orchid Dottyback Pseudochromis fridmani
A great aquarium fish that can be housed singly or in mated pairs, or in small aggregations as long as the tank is large enough and has plenty of live rock and hiding places. Usually shy initially, it will become bolder and remain mostly in the open, unless housed with larger, more aggressive species. Although the most sociable member of the genus, this species will occasionally pester smaller more passive fishes, other dottybacks and grammas.
Feed meaty foods including marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp and frozen preparations.
